Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos.

BOGOTA, Colombia. – President Juan Manuel Santos valued this Thursday the support of the Constitutional Court to the agreements with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), an expression of the irreversible nature of the peace process.

My call is to use this boost the Constitutional Court, unanimously, gives the process, to say that this is already irreversible.

Santos highlighted how the highest court unanimously endorsed the agreements signed with the former guerrilla, turned since September 1 into the Revolutionary Alternative Force of the Common Party (FARC).

The Court said in short that the peace agreement is the pawned word of the Colombian State, something that we have been repeating since we signed it, and that Colombians have to work in good faith and comply with these agreements, the Colombian President remarked.
