ACCRA, Ghana.-The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, received Cuban Vice President Mercedes Lopez Acea, who visits that country as part of a work tour by Africa.

As part of her program in that West African nation, Lopez Acea met with Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and paid tribute to the first President of the Republic of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah, reported local media.

In addition, the Cuban Vice President met with collaborators and Antillean residents in that country, solidarity groups and Ghanaians who studied in the island, the President of the New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay, and visited former head of State Jerry John Rawlings.
