Islamabad, Pakistan.- Directors of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with Pakistani businessmen showed on Thursday their willingness to increase cooperation with Cuba, especially in the pharmaceutical sector.

The news was revealed during the visit of Cuban Council of Ministers vice president Roberto Morales Ojeda, who attended a meeting organized by the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Morales was received in Islamabad by Prime Minister Imran Khan, with whom he had a friendly meeting, according to Cuban diplomatic sources.

The Cuban senior official also held meetings with the Pakistani ministers of Education and Health, with whom he agreed to work to expand bilateral cooperation in both sectors. He also visited the National Institute of Health in Pakistan.

Representatives of Cuba and Pakistan signed an agreement on the exemption from visa for diplomatic, official and service passport holders at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

The document was signed in the presence of Roberto Morales and Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
