New President of the Chamber of Deputies in Bolivia

LA PAZ, Bolivia. – The member of the Movement for Socialism, Simon Sergio Choque, was elected new president of the Bolivian Chamber of Deputies, it was confirmed in La Paz.

The majority bench of the Bolivian political party decided to amend the Chamber Resolution of January 19, 201, and to elect Choque to the head of the legislative body from 2019 to 2020.

On Wednesday, the senator of the Movement for Socialism and first vice-president of Deputies, Susana Rivero, led the session that approved the resignation of legislator Victor Borda for the ownership of the Chamber of Deputies and Representative Mario Warrior at his command.

During the session in which the agreement was reached to form the new directive, the lawmakers who spoke agreed to denounce a coup against the government of Evo Morales.
