CARACAS, Venezuela.- Cuban collaborators of the health sector support more than a dozen services in the Venezuelan capital through a program of actions to improve the quality of life of the people.

The coordinator of the medical mission in the territory, Dr. Elcido Quinones, points out that assistance includes the areas of comprehensive general medicine, ophthalmology, ER, admissions and other specialized consultations.

About 500 collaborators integrate the Health mission in hospitals, Integral Diagnostic Centers, rehabilitation rooms and medical offices, to cover population demand.

The treatment of patients joins to the training of professionals, to ensure the continuity of services with Venezuelan staff, a work devised by revolutionary leaders Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.
