CARACAS, Venezuela.- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro pointed out they must examine with the strength of ideas and the spirit of a country, the values to defeat expressions of hatred.
Maduro stressed the realization of a referendum to approve the new constitutional text.
During a ceremony at Vinicio Adames Park, Maduro urged intellectuality to initiate a great crusade of reflection to condemn hatred and overcome political violence, driven by sectors of the far-right opposition as part of a coup plan against the Bolivarian government.
He insisted that the Constituent National Assembly is the only democratic alternative to overcome the political and social situation affecting Venezuela.
The dignitary also highlighted the realization of a referendum to approve the new constitutional text generated by that assembly, and announced the National Electoral Council will receive a complement to the electoral bases that will appear in the Official Gazette.
