MANAGUA, Nicaragua. – Groups classified in Managua as criminal burned Radio Nicaragua facilities in the Nicaraguan capital, without fatal or injured victims.

The incident occurred this morning, as part of the plans to destabilize the country in the midst of a severe social and political crisis that erupted last April18, and even though the police have not declared themselves on this fact.

Witnesses reported that at least some 40 individuals arrived at the station’s facilities firing firearms, hand-made mortars and throwing Molotov bombs, while workers and journalists escaped from the attack through the back of the building.

In this way, Radio Nicaragua was burned and looted, and furniture, desks, offices and transmission cabins were destroyed, as it can be seen in the images disclosed.
