BEIJING, China.-The President of the National Assembly of People´s Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo, on official visit this Thursday to Shanghai, China, reaffirmed the historical friendship uniting the governments, Communist parties and peoples of both countries.

In the Chinese capital he held a fraternal meeting with the President of the Municipal People’s Assembly, Yin Yicui, who explained the process of updating the Cuban economic-social model, and the peculiarities of its Parliament.

Both sides agreed on the importance of continuing to advance in the strengthening of inter-parliamentary relations, with an emphasis on the exchange of experiences and communication.

Esteban Lazo’s visit to Shanghai allowed assessing the excellent relations of fellowship and cooperation with Beijing, and the potential for future collaboration in prioritized sectors of common interest.
