BEIJING, China.- Employment in the People’s Republic of China has remained stable, mainly thanks to the strength of the services sector last year, according to statistical reports that local media and international news agencies highlight today.

The continued balance of employment in that Asian country shows the stable development of its economy, despite external uncertainties, and is an endorsement of future growth, analysts say.

The government’s promise was to create some 11 million urban jobs this year and more than a half of them were generated until May, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

The number of registered start-ups grew more than 10% year-on-year, owing to China’s continued efforts to promote massively entrepreneurship and innovation.
