BEIJING, China.- Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang criticized U.S. security policies, noting that U.S. officials have lived in a self-induced panic.

In this regard, he said the Trump Administration demonstrates an uncontrolled level of paranoia by attempting to ban the operation of telecommunications companies like Huawei on its territory, as media reported.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman also believes Washington sees threats at all times, and in particular, he placed the origin of the problem and the current chaos in the abuse of national security concept.

The diplomat made the announcement shortly after the Trump Administration made known its plans to require U.S. companies to use only 5 G cellular equipment designed and manufactured outside China.
