Government visit to Granma begins.

GRANMA, Cuba.-The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel, leads a government visit to Granma, which began at Manuel Fajardo Genetic Company, at the forefront in the development of Cuban cattle ranching.

For his part, Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers Roberto Morales Ojeda, exchanged with executives of Celia Sanchez University of Medical Sciences, in Manzanillo.

In the institution, Morales Ojeda called for increase the training plan for specialists and PhDs in Science, as well as research projects and publications.

In addition, the Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Ines Maria Chapman and the President of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, Antonio Rodriguez, verifies the execution of investments and works related to water supply service.

Necessary Integration and Productive Linkages

We must be improve continuously to achieve the necessary integration and productive linkages, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers Ulises Rosales del Toro said at the Meat Company in Granma, during the government visit.

During the exchange with workers and managers of the productive unit, Rosales del Toro asked about the more than 50 products the company makes.

The staff of the Meat Company in Granma explained they produces canned meat, sausages and products elaborated with natural beef or pig guts, to substitute other expensive ingredients in the international market.

Likewise, Rosales del Toro called to replace imports, increase production, and extreme measures to prevent illegalities and corruption in Granma entities.
