Paris, France.- L’Humanite Festival opens its 82nd edition, an event considered the main meeting of progressive forces in France and an important cultural and popular event.

The main issue of the festival this year will be ‘the world is ours.’ Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to participate with the premise to share and promote solidarity and cooperation.

According to press information, visitors will be capable this year of enjoying activities in about 450 stands, in which the different regions of France and around 80 countries will be represented.

The event will also include 60 concerts, 200 debates, 15 shows, 20 films and 10 art exhibitions, among others dedicated to politics, literature, art, culture and entertainment.

The festival, which more than 600,000 visitors are annually welcomed, will last until Sunday, September 16, at Geroges Valbon Park, in La Courneuve municipality, in northern Paris.

As it is already traditional, Cuba will have a broad participation in this festival, including many political and cultural activities.
