New York, United States.- Cuban singer Cimafunk arrived in New York”s Central Park to offer a taste of Cuban funk music, with a concert that marked a dream come true, although there remain many more to realize.

Alongside tracks from his debut album ‘Terapia,’ the Cuban artist sang several new songs he is currently promoting, as an experiment, to have fun and see what people like, he told Prensa Latina.

‘Paciente,’ ‘Me voy’ and ‘Ponte pa’ lo tuyo’ got the crowd moving on Sunday afternoon at the SummerStage, in one of the iconic sites of this city.

Cimafunk made his US debut in Austin, Texas, at the SXSW Music Festival, where he attracted the interest of important music industry figures .

The tour, organized by American businessman Collin Laverty, who promotes actions in favor of trade and investment between the United States and Cuba, included performances in Washington, New York, New Orleans, Chicago, Asheville, Nashville, Charleston, Atlanta, Miami, Providence, Hartford, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
