HAVANA, Cuba. – With the show The Magic of Dance with a full house in the San Lorenzo Auditorium of El Escorial, in Madrid, the National Ballet of Cuba concluded its season in Spain.

At the end of the farewell gala, her director Alicia Alonso greeted the audience and received a resonant ovation, who repeated her name, since her appearance in the stage with dancers Dani Hernandez and Rafael Quenedit.

The summer tour of the National Ballet of Cuba will continue with presentations of The Magic of Dance in the Italian cities of Ravenna and Turin, and then they will travel to France.

In Paris, the company will begin their presentations in the Salle Pleyel with a gala on July 6, and the season will continue with six performances of Giselle and seven of Don Quixote, two emblematic titles in the repertoire of the company.
