BELGRADE, Serbia.- The Vice-President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and the Council of State, Ana Maria Mari Machado, and the First Vice-President of the Vietnam Parliament, Tong Thi Phong, exchanged on the excellent state of bilateral relations.

At the meeting, as part of the activities carried out by the Cuban delegation to the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, based in Serbia, both sides highlighted the historic ties of brotherhood, and confirmed the willingness to continue to expand links.

Several discussion forums on crucial current issues characterized the work of the Inter-Parliamentary Union meeting on Monday, with the participation of about two thousand representatives of world legislatures.

The Cuban member Estela Cristina Luna Morales spoke in one of those forum in the island.
