Cuban Vice-Chancellor thanks support for fight against blockade.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Marcelino Medina, thanked the Government of Finland for its support in the fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States to the island, imposed almost six decades ago.

Medina expressed it in his Twitter account, after meeting with the Secretary of State of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Matti Anttonen.

As part of his work visit to that country, the Cuban Vice-Chancellor attended the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Medina also expressed his desire to meet with members of the Finland-Cuba Friendship Association. His work tour by the Nordic country is an expression of the reciprocal interest of the island and Europe, to continue deepening bilateral relations.
