HAVANA, Cuba.- Esteban Lazo, head of the Cuban Parliament, highlighted the historical links between Cuba and the Republic of Ghana, in the year of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries.
In receiving Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the National Capitol in Havana, Lazo thanked for the support in Cuba´s fight against the blockade. He also explained to the visitor the structure of the Cuban legislature and its new Constitution, as well as ratified the position of invariable solidarity with Venezuela.
The President of Ghana signified the transcendence of bilateral ties and said, We will never forget Cuba’s help for the liberation of the African continent.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen relations and diversify them.
