HAVANA, Cuba. – Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, received on Monday afternoon Maria Reyes Maroto Illera, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Spain.

The Spanish Minister heads a large delegation attending the FIT Cuba 2019 International Tourism Fair, in which Spain is the guest country of honor.

During the meeting, Cabrisas referred to the good state of relations between Cuba and Spain, a country confirmed as one of the main Cuba´s partners in business and commercial fields, as well as in international cooperation.

The Cuban Vice-President also recognized the position of the Spanish Government in the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, leading the rejection of this measure within the European Union.
