Havana Cuba. - The diplomatic representation of Cuba was against the resolution against the pacific nuclear program of Iran, approved this Friday by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in its headquarters in Vienna.
Juan Carlos Marsán, Cuban ambassador before that international organization, said Iran exerts the right given by the Non-proliferation Treaty to develop that energy with pacific aims; nevertheless, it faces sentences and sanctions for political reasons.
The diplomat also declared himself against the double standard of the international institutions, and emphasized that nobody makes reference to the nuclear power of Israel, that it does constitute a real threat for the countries of the area.
Marsán remembered the lies surrounding the aggression to Iraq about the so called program of mass destruction, and he pointed out that those who disclosed them they are the same that insists today on causing a climate of aggression against Iran.
