Havana, Cuba.-The movement of Solidarity with Cuba is preparing for a continental event which will strengthen it, informed Kenia Serrano, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP).
In an interview with Prensa Latina, Serrano confirmed to have met here with Alfonso Ulloa, president of the Dominican Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba and Milagros Rivera, of the Solidarity Movement with Puerto Rico.
Havana, Cuba.-Farmers in the central province of Sancti Spiritus have been benefitted with the Brazilian More Food Program, which granted a credit line to increase the production of grains, fruits and milk.
Private workers in the central province are now receiving operational services with new tractors and other agricultural equipment, which helps to reduce costs and increase productivity, said Agriculture Ministry official Juan Jose Nazco.
Havana, Cuba.-Cuban university education system will benefit in the near future from a substantial improvement in infrastructure needed for its computerization and connectivity, said Ricardo Alarcon, head of the Ministry of Higher Education (MES by its Spanish acronym).
Speaking to the press, the minister explained that the academies will be one of the first institutions in which the statement made in the First National Workshop on Cybersecurity and Computerization that there is the political will to computerize Cuban society will be materialized.
