Havana, Cuba.-Cuban President Raul Castro on Saturday received the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers'' Party of Korea and the secretary of International Relations, Kang Sok Su, who is here on a visit at the invitation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).
In a friendly atmosphere, Raul Castro, who is also the PCC first secretary, and Kang Sok Su reviewed the state of relations between the two parties and countries, as well as other national and international issues, according to an official press release.
Havana, Cuba.-A meeting at the University of Limpopo, northern South African province, was the last activity in this country of the five Cubans who were held in U.S. prisons for fighting terrorism. So far, the expected visitors knew Western Cape, Gauteng and Limpopo, although Free State and KwaZulu Natal were also included in the program.
The Cuban Five talked at full theater with students and workers of the higher education center, as well as with other participants at an event that for many is still a dream.
Cuban First Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Saturday received the speaker of the Mexican Senate, Miguel Barbosa, who is heading the delegation that participated in the Cuba-Mexico Interparliamentary Meeting held here for two days.
Diaz-Canel and Barbosa expressed satisfaction with the successful results of the Meeting, which was held in the atmosphere of friendship and respect that characterizes the fraternal ties between the two countries, as well as with the progress made in bilateral relations over the past few years.
