Havana, Cuba. – Am exhibition fair with products, services and new technologies for geological studies opened this Tuesday in Havana until next Friday, as a part of the 4th Earth Sciences Convention, Geosciences 2011.
Displayed in several stands, companies from Canada, France, Namibia and Russia participate, as well as a numerous Cuban representation, that shows its most recent works on geophysics, mining and petroleum exploration, among others fields.
A workshop on underground waters was also held in the event of Earth Sciences, with the collaboration of specialists from Argentina and Cuba. It was focused on the importance of that resource and its possible contaminations.
Researchers from Latin American countries like Venezuela, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Cuba, as the host, are taking part in Geosciences 2011.
