| Hits: 282Havana. Cuba. - The ashes of American Reverend Lucius Walker, leader of the movement of solidarity with Cuba known as Pastors for Peace, will rest in Cuban earth by his own will, Kenia Serrano, president of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples , said.
He needed that the posthumous tribute is fixed for July 30, Day of the Martyrs of the Cuban Revolution, and in the presence of the members of the 27th Caravan of Pastors for Peace coming from the United States.
Lucius Walker, who passed away last September, was agent of those caravans that in an open challenge to the blockade imposed by Washington arrives at the greatest island in the Antilles with humanitarian aid and, first and foremost, a forceful message of support and friendship.
In the Anti-imperialist tribune José Martí it will be unveiled a commemorative plaque to honor the close friend of Cuba, its Revolución and Fidel.
