Havana, Cuba.-A Chinese credit line will allow the setting up of a multi-purpose port terminal in eastern Santiago de Cuba, the second major city in Cuba at 850 kilometers from the capital Havana.
The credit line was one of the accords signed during the recent visit here by China's president Xi Jinping, according to Radio China International.
Havana, Cuba.-The 3rd International Convention on Engineering will take place in the Varadero Tourist Center of Matanzas province November 6 to 8.
According to the event's organizing committee, the convention will include six forums focusing on issues such as women as engineers, the youth meeting the challenge of the future, engineering on the countryside and creative citie, sustainability of engineering, energy for development and updated engineering.
