Havana, Cuba.-The Conventions Center in Havana hosts from today until April 18th the 13 International Congress of Information Info-2014, organized by the Cuban Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (IDICT).
During those days the venue of the Congress will also host the 10th International Workshop on Business Intelligence and Enterprise Knowledge Management, IntEmpres-2014.
Brasilia, Brazil.-Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, recommended to read the books by Cuban writer Leonardo Padura, who launched his novel "El hombre que amaba a los perros" (The man who loved dogs) in the 2nd Book and Reading Biennial in Brasilia.
"Padura is a great person and I recommend his books", Rousseff posted on her Twitter account following a lunch with the Cuban writer. The Portuguese edition of the novel, written in 2009, was launched in Brasilia, last week, during the 2nd Book and Reading Biennial.
Harare, Zimbabwe.-Specialists from Labiofam Group will represent Cuba in a promotional event that is part of the multinational project to fight Malaria in the African continent.
Experts Roberto Sanchez and Aramis Martinez arrived to Zimbabwe to join the caravan and race against malaria, after making the appropriate coordination and paperwork.
