Cuban scientists nominated to international award
Havana, Cuba. - Four well-known Cuban personalities related to science are nominated to the Eureka Prize, that will grant the World Council of Academic Scholars and Researchers in Education (COMAU), next February 1st.
The chosen ones of Cuba are: the historian of the City of Havana, Doctor Eusebio Leal Spengler, and the president of the International Association of Special Education, Doctoral candidate Orlando Terré Camacho
They were also nominated for the scientific Eureka Prize, the director of the National Center for Sex Education, Master Mariela Castro Espín, and Doctor Gladys Bécquer Díaz, national director of Physical education and Promotion of Health, of INDER.
The winners will be announced during the First World Convention on, that will be held in the Convention Palace of Havana since February the 1st to the 4.
