Cuba – Mexico interparliamentary meeting in Havana

Parliamentary Ramón Pez Ferro, president of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, pointed out that about 25 Mexican senators and members of the Parliament attend the encounter, and a similar number of Cuban parliamentaries.

Shortly after the end of the multitudinal mass that he celebrated in the Revolution Square, Pope Benedict XVI received the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz in the Apostolic Nunciature in Havana.

Fidel arrived at 12:20 p.m. to the Nunciature and there he was welcomed by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State of the Holy See, with whom he had previously met in Cuba when the second one in the Vatican hierarchy visited our country.
