Havana, Cuba.-Cuba and China will look for new business opportunities in key sectors like renewable energy, biopharmaceutical industry and tourism.
On the occasion of the visit to the island of two important Chinese business delegations, two meetings will be held at Havana's Hotel Nacional de Cuba on Monday, in which new opportunities offered by Law 118 of Foreign Investment, in force since June, will be presented.
Havana, Cuba- Resolution 206 of the Customs of the Republic of Cuba, which enters into force on September 1st, specifies the limit to establish the commercial nature on imports made by natural persons by any way.
The rule reiterates the Customs authority is empowered to determine the commercial nature in the case that the quantities of the same item, its nature, function or reiterated imports indicate they are carried out for commercial purposes.
Havana, Cuba.-The quality of Cuba bee honey and its sales at the most demanding markets of the world, such as Europe and Asia are issues on the spotlight of specialists gathered these days at the 5th Cuban Congress on Apiculture, underway in Havana till July 18.
Some 100 delegates from Cuba and another 20 from Spain, Mexico, Argentina and other countries are attending the event, whose agenda also focuses on efforts to achieve diversification of honey production, the culture of bee keeping, technology in the field, commercialization and exports.
