Tokyo, Japan.- Japan’s Naomi Osaka defeated Italian Camila Georgi 6-2 and 6-3 on Saturday and classified to the final of the Tennis Open in this city.

Champion of the U.S. Open-2018, the 20 year old player, seventh in the world ranking, overpowered her opponent without difficulties in one hour and 11 minutes and will face for the crown with the Czech Karolina Pliskova, eighth racket of the world.

Pliskova reached this match after getting rid of the Croatian Donna Vekic with partial 6-2, 4-6 and 6-3.

These tennis players had already met on two occasions, with one victory for Osaka and another for Pliskova.

The Tokyo competition, also known as Toray Pan Pacific Open, is disputed over rough ground and awards 800 thousand dollars in prizes, in addition to points for the world ranking.
