Havana, Cuba.- International corporation Habanos S.A. presented in Warsaw, Poland, on Wednesday a world exclusive Premium cigars of the Brand Hoyo de Monterrey Escogidos.

In a press handout Habanos S.A. reported its official distributor in Germany, Austria and Poland, Fifth Avenue Products Trading GmbH, made a world exclusive presentation of the Hoyo de Monterrey Escogidos, 10 cigars rolled totally by hand with long wrapper leaves. The specially selected leaves come from plantations in the zone of San Juan and Martinez, in the heart of the western Cuban province of Pinar del Rio, where the island’s best tobacco plantations are.

The presentation of Hoyo de Monterrey Escogidos will be this September 26 in the Polish capital, in an event organized by Fifth Avenue Products Trading GmbH. Their slogan is very appropriate: ‘We have been selected’ as ‘escogidos’ in Spanish is selected.

Attendants will have the privilege of tasting this new Habano, besides enjoying several surprises, such as the presentation of beverages highly exclusive, among which the whisky of the brand Glenmorangie and cognac Hennessy, as well as chocolate and live Cuban music.

Hoyo de Monterrey Escogidos (49 by 180 milímeters long) will sell exclusively in the international chain of stores under the franchise of Casa del Habano.

These habanos are selected for the occasion, honoring thus the name of the band and also referring to the tobacco process in the agricultural and manufacturing phase, called ‘escogida’.

The Casas del Habano is an international chain of 140 stores under the franchise in 65 countries with over 25 years of existence. Since December, 1990 when the first opened in Cancun, Mexico, defining a concept totally innovative for cigar lovers.

This network has the concept of boutique specialized in the sale of habanos, with the best service and assessment, where smokers can buy and taste the best cigar in the world, besides the novel boxes and articles related to this exclusive product.

The brand Hoyo de Monterrey has its origin in the plantation of the same name in San Juan and Martinez, one of the most famous known by the inscription on its door: Hoyo de Monterrey, Jose Gener, 1860.

All Hoyo de Monterrey bands (types) are rolled by expert Cuban workers.

Fifth Avenue Products Trading, GmbH, is the official distributor of Habanos S.A., when in 1989, Heinrich Villiger founded the first joint venture of the world for the exclusive import and distribution of habanos.
