forum financieroHavana, Cuba.-The National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) is organizing a forum on financial affairs, to be attended by about 400 experts from several countries, the organizing committee confirmed.

The 11th International Meeting on Accountability, Audits and Finance is scheduled for May 22-24 at Havana’s International Convention Center.

The event will discuss a wide range of matters related to financial accountability and management, internal control, audits and banking, the Cuban News Agency (ANC) reported.

According to the report, the meeting will consist of master lectures, papers, panels and sales of books on economic and accounting sciences.

So far, most participants who have confirmed participation come from Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia, who have had an outstanding presence in previous events, the ANC added.

In 2017, the ANEC will also host the 2nd International Meeting on Management and Entrepreneurship, from October 11-13, which will allow participants to exchange good practices on the socialist state enterprise’s development, cooperatives and self-employment.
