HAVANA, Cuba. – Army General Raul Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, received this Thursday Admiral Miao Hua, a member of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China and director of his Department of Political Work.

The visitor heads a delegation who pays an official visit to the island, invited by the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.

In the fraternal meeting, they exchanged about the excellent relations between the peoples, Parties, Governments and Armed Forces of both countries.

Members of the Political Bureau of the Party, Army Corps Generals Leopoldo Cintra Frias, Minister of FAR, and Alvaro Lopez Miera, chief of the General staff of the FAR, also attended the meeting.
