HAVANA, Cuba.- With the presence of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, and the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, the 21st Congress of the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba (CTC) ended.

Abelardo Alvarez Gil, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, announced the seventeen members of the Executive Secretariat of CTC, in which Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento was ratified as its Secretary General and Carmen Rosa Rodriguez as second Secretary.

Guilarte de Nacimiento thanked the trust and called to work every day from the union practice to make real the Congress´s motto: Unity, Commitment and Victory.

He called on all the workers to participate in the parades this May 1 to ratify once again our commitment to the Revolution.
