HAVANA, Cuba.- On Wednesday, April 10, the proclamation of the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, endorsed last 24 February, will take place in this capital with the positive vote of more than 6 million voters.

The ceremony will be at the Convention Palace of Havana, in an extraordinary session of the National Assembly of the People’s Power, according to the disposition of the Council of State.

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, said this Fundamental Law reaffirms the socialist course of the Revolution and allows channeling the work of the State, the Government, the organizations and all the people in the improvement of society.
