Cuba continues among the preferences of international tourism.

HAVANA, Cuba. – The arrival in Cuba of two million international visitors so far this year ratifies the confidence of tour operators, travel agencies, airlines and vacationers, according to the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR).

The note of the institution states that the outcome is despite campaigns and measures aimed at hindering Americans’ journeys to Cuba, and the impact of Hurricane Irma, which swept the country in September.

Authorities of the Ministry of Tourism argue that although the perception of damage caused by the cyclone influences the decision of many travelers, the destination Cuba recovered and exhibits a renewed image in its facilities.

The statement by the Ministry of Tourism adds that they continue to set a standard in the issuance of visitors from Canada and the usual European markets to the island, as Russia, Mexico, Argentina, China, and Brazil stand out for their sustained growth.
