Sugar harvest do not stop in Artemisa.

ARTEMISA, Cuba.- The effort and inventiveness of workers of November 30 sugar complex in San Cristobal municipality, was recognized by the Second Secretary of the Party, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, who verified the march of the sugar cane harvest in Artemisa province.

The also Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers, appreciated the work of recovery after the rupture that caused the collapse of the channel of the vacuum system in the industry.

Accompanied by the First Secretary of the Party in Artemisa, Gladys Martinez Verdecia, Machado Ventura was interested in the industrial performance that still does not reach the plan in the current harvest.

Alexis Torres Fuentes, director of the sugar company in Artemisa, reported that to date 57 percent of the planned cane is milled and 45 percent of raw sugar is produced.

Jose Ramon Machado Ventura considered that despite the breaks in November 30 sugar complex, conditions are created and there is the necessary sugar cane, to continue the milling in the territory.
