Evo is the second President visiting Cuba after the culmination of the general election process.

HAVANA, Cuba.- In the company of the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, Bolivian President Evo Morales toured the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), in Havana.

This Monday the South American leader also honored the national hero of Cuba, Jose Marti, by depositing a floral offering to the monument located in the Revolution Square.

During the homage, Morales said that Cuba can count on all the support and the solidarity of the people and the government he represents, and that for his country and the rest of the nations, the island is an example to follow in the matter of fight for life and equality.

He highlighted the excellent state of bilateral relations, which is expressed by his visit, the second of a foreign representative to Cuba after the culmination of the general election process.
