HAVANA, Cuba.- The Sixth International Congress of Tropical Animal Production of the Institute of Animal Science of the Ministry of Higher Education, will be held in Havana from next October 29 to November 2.

Jose Andres Diaz Untoria, president of the organizing committee of the forum, explained that the event will favor the integration of actors in the animal feeding process in Cuba, from the scientific, productive, teaching and student perspective.

Diaz Untoria added that in the Tropical Animal Production Congress, diverse and sustainable livestock programs will be assessed in their soil-plant-animal interaction, as well as the role of young people and women in local development and family or backyard production system.

The official pointed out that the meeting will be a business round for research centers, universities and companies.
