HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel, chaired this Tuesday the meeting of the Cabinet convened to follow up the work of recovery in the Cuban capital.

Diaz-Canel valued the work in the communities needs to be more precise now, and that after the registration of affections made in these days it is imperative to go to specific places, to take care of cases not attended yet.

The Cuban President insisted on prioritizing the preparation of technical data sheets for each housing affected by the tornado, which must be done with haste, but in turn with all the quality required, to minimize mistakes that can reach the offices of formalities.

To organize and viable the work better, both in these offices and in the different points of sale, is one of the issues that most attention requires at the moment, Diaz-Canel highlighted.

Studying Phenomenon and Help

This Tuesday, during the Council of Ministers, Cuban head of State Miguel Diaz-Canel, drew attention to the need of collecting all the experiences experienced after the passing of the devastating tornado, which will be duly studied.

Regarding the operation of the formalities offices, the Minister of Finance and Prices, Meisi Bolanos Weiss, ratified that measures are taken to reinforce the work flow, and conditions are created in establishments to speed the attention to people.

Until this Tuesday noon, more than five thousand people had been served, according to the report presented in the Council of Ministers by Bolanos Weiss.
The Minister of Construction, Rene Mesa Villafana, said that visits continue to account for impact on houses, which amounted to more than 480 at the closing of these days.

About New Investments and Donations

Betsy Diaz Velazquez, Minister of Domestic Trade, said in the Council of Ministers that during this Tuesday conditions were created to allow the extension of hours of sale in the stores of construction materials.

On communications, the head of the sector, Jorge Luis Perdomo, said the work continues in the municipality of Diez de Octubre where in addition to staunching damages, a new investment is being made to replace wiring.

Reynaldo Garcia Zapata, President of the Government in Havana, reported on the points established at district level to receive donations from the population for the victims.

For his part, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, updated on the offerings of donations that arrive in the country.
