MATANZAS, Cuba. – A group of 25 outstanding young people from the Matanzas province will continue since next January 20 the journey along the Central Road of the flame symbolizing the ideas of Jose Marti and the validity of his thought.

With the support of the Marti Youth Movement and the Jose Marti Cultural Society, the With the light of your ideas Route pays tribute to the Cuban national hero on the 165th anniversary of his birth.

The information on Radio 26 station´s website specifies that campings are included in the municipality of Jovellanos and Loma del Pocito, in Matanzas, as well as community interventions in difficult-to-reach territories.

The participants will deliver the Marti Flame to the province of Mayabeque on January 24, until completing the symbolic journey in the March of the Torches next January 28.
