HAVANA, Cuba.- Higher education as part of the education system should improve its management in terms of articulation, in order to respond to the needs of social development, Jose Ramon Saborido, Minister of this sector, said at the Convention Palace in Havana.

During the second day of the 16th International Congress Pedagogy 2019, he spoke about the need to form with quality and rigor the teaching staff that is required in each province or municipality.

The Minister of Higher Education referred to the importance of achieving a favorable articulation between middle and higher education, so that the process may improve.

Saborido also mentioned that the internal articulation of higher education should be perfected, with emphasis on the new short-cycle level, and the linkage with the society of its productive sector and its educational system.
