HAVANA, Cuba. – In the opening day of the International Conference on Construction, the Resident representative of the United Nations Development Program, Consuelo Vidal-Bruce, called for an inclusive urbanization, one of the Sustainable Development Goals.

During the exchange with delegates to the meeting, Vidal-Bruce spoke about the construction of resilient infrastructures, and the necessary improvement of the technological capacity of the industrial sectors.

The strengthening of the relations between the Ministries of Higher Education and Construction, as well as the participation in research projects, was also highlighted in the first day of the International Conference of the sector, which takes place in Havana.

It was also known that among the development lines, the impulse of computerization and automation of constructions in the country stands out.
