MANICARAGUA, Villa Clara.- At the edge of nine o’clock this Friday the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, began a tour of mountain areas of Manicaragua, affected by the floods caused by subtropical storm Alberto in Villa Clara province.

Accompanied by local Party and Government authorities, Diaz-Canel spoke with the residents of Jibacoa and was interested in recovery efforts in an area affected by floods the storm caused since last May.

As the Cuban President passed through Villa Clara, he received the signs of affection and sympathy of the people, in the province where he was born.

In addition, the President of the Councils of State and Ministers held an exchange with directors of different agencies and entities at the Provincial Assembly of the People’s Power.
