HAVANA, Cuba. – Cuban Vice-President Jose Ramon Machado Ventura participated in the discussions of the Commission on Efficiency at the National Union of Health Workers Conference.

Participants analyzed on the role of the trade union organization in the driving of workers towards savings the maximum use of the working day, the correct use of resources and how to achieve an excellent attention to the population.

Vice-President Salvador Valdes Mesa, Ulises Guilarte of birth, Secretary General of the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba, and Roberto Morales Ojeda, minister of Public Health, participated in the work committees.

Delegates also discussed on trade union work, the improvement of the system in the sector, the integral attention to workers and the population´s satisfaction.
