Havana, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel announced Monday he will host Belize”s Prime Minister Dean Oliver Barrow as part of his official visit to Cuba.

Diaz-Canel, highlighted in his Twitter account the historical ties between Cuba and Belize, based on solidarity and friendship.

We will welcome Tuesday Dean Oliver Barrow, Belize’s PM, as part of his official visit. The historical ties binding Cuba and Belize are based on solidarity, friendship, gratitude and full support for the Caribbean’, he wrote in his twitter @DiazCanelB.

For its part, the Foreign Ministry also referred to the Belizean Prime Minister’s arrival in Cuba the West.

Barrow will begin an official visit to Cuba on Tuesday, during which he will hold official conversations with national authorities and hold other activities.
