Havana, Cuba.- Diplomat Anayansi Rodriguez has taken over the post of Deputy Minister at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Cuba, after holding several responsibilities in defense of the island”s foreign policy.
Rodriguez was the Cuban permanent representative before the UN, after she held a post in Geneva as Cuban representative with the United Nations and other international organizations in that Swiss city and her work in the Foreign Ministry at the head of the Multilateral Affairs Office.
Cuban leaders and officials congratulated Rodriguez for her appointment, among them Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez himself.
‘Successes in her new post to Anayansi Rodriguez, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs,’ the minister wrote in his account in Twitter.
Rodriguez replaces Abelardo Moreno, an official who has an outstanding record in revolutionary diplomacy in his responsibility as Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister. He will now work as an adviser for the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
