PINAR DEL RIO, Cuba. – Workers of the Party Propaganda Unit and Communal Services in Pinar del Rio continue preparing the place where the Caravan of Freedom will arrive on Wednesday.

The 59th anniversary of the historic event will take place at the intersection of Marti and Rafael Ferro Streets, where on January 17, 1959, Fidel spoke to the people of the provincial capital for the first time.

In the tribune where the young people of Pinar del Rio will reissue the Caravan of Freedom, Cuban and July 26th flags are placed, as well as and two modern LED technology screens.

The caravan will be formed by members of the Jose Marti Pioneer Organization, students from Camilo Cienfuegos Military School and fighters of the Revolution.
