CARACAS, Venezuela. – The first Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, proposed the conducting of parliamentary elections with the presidential ones fixed to April 22.

The socialist leader announced he will take the proposal to the Constituent National Assembly, for the political vacuum that represents the current inaction of the Venezuelan legislature, which remains in contempt of democratic institutions.
