Official Talks between Cuba and France

PARIS, France.- The Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Cuban People’s Power, Ana Maria Mari Machado, was received this Thursday at the headquarters of the National Assembly of France, by the first Vice-President of this body, Carole Bureau-Bonnard.

During the official conversations, both Vice-Presidents assessed the progress of bilateral linkages positively, and agreed on the willingness to strengthen links between the respective parliamentary bodies, and to narrow the exchange between Cuban and French deputies.

Mari Machado made an update on the events in Cuba and highlighted the wide popular participation in the consultation process on the draft Constitution.

Both parties recognized the positive role of the friendship groups established in both assemblies, which favor the advancement of inter-parliamentary links between Cuba and France.
