CARACAS, Venezuela. – The Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Tarek El Aissami, announced this Wednesday the presidential candidacy of Nicolas Maduro for the 2018 elections.

“We will have, God willing, the re-election of our brother Nicholas Maduro as President of the Republic. The politician ratified the PSUV and allies of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) will participate as a perfect alliance in the municipal elections of December 10, where Chavismo works to sweep.

The Venezuelan Vice President emphasized that from the ranks of the Bolivarian Revolution “we are prepared to achieve a great victory in 2017 and 2018, this people woke up because we are the people of hardship”.
